Colin Mason has successfully painted in oils and acrylics to commission for a number of years, and has also had exhibitions across the country. Exhibitions have been successfully held in: Crowcombe, Somerset. Coalville, Leicestershire. Holt, Norfolk. Melbourne, Derbyshire. Colin paints a vast range of subjects although he is an Aviation Artist at heart.

The sea anemone is one of his favourites from the flora collection that is his most recently completed works. Other subjects include: Marine, Land and Seascapes, Murals, Female Figure, Portraits, Flora, Contemporary art and Caricatures. Some years ago he was commissioned to paint a mural in the Officers Mess at RAF West Raynham, sadly this station is now closed.

Born in Poplar, London, he has recently moved from Somerset to the quiet village of Oxborough close to the National Trust owned Oxburgh Hall where he at long last achieving a lifetime ambition in dedicating himself to his art.

Having been in the RAF for many years and then working in the airline industry, it is understandable to see where his inspiration has come from. It is Colin?s intention to hold more exhibitions throughout Norfolk and other counties in the future, as well as taking on more commissioned work.
